    Waiting for EAD.. Can I go to India ?

    Hello,
    I am graduating this May 2006. I have applied for OPT but still havent received it ! Looks like I have to wait to for about 2 more months for EAD.
    I have a job offer in hand, which I have accepted but cannot start work until I get EAD ! Can I make a one month trip to India while I am waiting for OPT to arrive ??
    PLease advise...... it's urgent !!!
