Travelling on Advance Parole & Difference in Port of Entry?
Hi,
I am currently on Advance Parole and am outside of the US visiting family. My husband (petitioner) and I (beneficiary) have our immigration interview for the week that I return. I have been hearing horror stories of people traveling and having incredibly difficulty reentering on Advance Parole, as well as explaining travel to the immigration officer during the interview. My husband and I went in our honeymoon in May and returned without issue but apparently the new difficulties have cropped up as of August. Has anyone had this experience? Also does it make a difference as to Port of Entry? For example, I have been told casually by friends to avoid entering through Miami, that its the worst airport immigration to deal with in the US. Is that accurate? How about in comparison to NYC? Thank you
