Hey everyone I had a really quick question I hope someone cold help me answer. I am a USC and my mom came for a 6 month visit in January. After 4 months we decided to apply for adjustment of status. She received her Advanced Parole document in August and she is planning to travel this week overseas as the green card process is taking longer than we thought. My question is, her stay expired middle July, 2 months after we applied for green card, and one month before her advanced parole approval. Was she unlawful in the country or not? I know certain risks are present when traveling on AP, but I do not want her to go if they may see this period as her overstay.
