Name misspelled on EAD
Hi all,
My wife's name was misspelled on the EAD/AP card. Her name is spelled correctly on all paperwork except on one spot in the I-765. On the sheet that the card came with it said to submit the card, a letter explaining the error, and documentation if there's anythng wrong on the card. Well I've also heard since it was our fault for the one misspelling we may have to send another I-765 and pay the fee again.
Can anyone tell me which we have to do? Hoping because of what the letter says we can just send it and it's a quick painless fix but I am not counting on it.
Big problem is we are scheduled to leave the county in mid March for our second wedding in her country and honeymoon, and if her AP is not fixed by then IDK if she can leave the country.
