EAD for L2 - Question with i-765 form fill up

I am on L1 currently. My spouse who earlier worked on H1 would like to apply for EAD in L2 category. H1 is no more valid.

While filling up the EAD form i-765, we encountered following question

" Have you ever before applied for employment authorization from USCIS?"

I would like to know whether previous H1 should that be considered as employment authorization from USCIS? or not?

Any one in similar situation (present or past) and what you did?

can i apply for i-765 before i-485

Hi,

I have approved I-140. is there any option to file for EAD (i-765) before i-131 and i-485 ? any feedback would be appreciated.
