Successfully entered the country with my AP card. Went to to the second room, waited around 30 minutes and was handed my passport with the parole in.

      Travel

I traveled to the UK from LA and returned on the 6 March. I flew with Virgin Atlantic. On my return they aked if I was travelling with an ESTA or Visa - I said neither and showed them my AP card. They already had that option on the computer and it was no problem. After landing I was told to line up as normal with everyone else going through. The Officer at Border Control looked at my AP, and then told me to go over to the Secondary Review room, he said not to worry they just check with USCIS. I was in there less than 5 minutes. The Officer behind the desk stamped my passport and that was that. Everyone was very nice.

I was really scared coming back as you hear of the horror stories but it was very simple and very quick. If you have AP do not hesitate to travel its fine. I am now looking into booking another flight for June.

Thank you for your input. My husband has AP, but we haven't had the interview for his GC yet. We wanted to travel to Jamaica, his homeland, in August and we were nervous of how it would go coming back into the US.
