Just got my Combo Card yesterday (employment based) and status of my i-485 updated to "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Employment-Based Interview".

How safe to travel outside US with my EAD card meaning how safe to go back here?

And what documents should be brought? Im planning to travel next week from April 5-15 to attend a family gatherings.

It's safe to travel with the AP.

If you still have an H1b/L1 work status, you can also travel on that and return on the H1b/L1 visa instead of AP if you want.
