Reentering US by valid L (or H) visa having AP too but only valid for single entry

Hi,
I have valid L visa but also have AP said to be only valid for single entry. Under this situation, suppose I try to reenter US with L visa and am permitted, what will happen to the single-entry AP?

As far as I know if you use your AP then your currently valid visa gets dropped

So choose carefully

If you don't use the AP, it should still be usable for a single entry in the future.

Thank you for your replies! I see. if I use AP instead of L, I may lose both. So, definitely using L would be the best choice: I can keep my L status and AP is reusable in the future. Good to know!
