Hi! I came here because I don't know what to do, and I was wondering if any of you are in the same situation.
I came to US with K1 Visa on august. I got married with my US citizen husband few weeks after arriving.
We mailed my application for Green Card I-485, Travel permit I-131, and EAD I-765 on OCTOBER 14th.
I went to the biometrics appointment on middle of november.
I got RFE November 22 saying that COPY of my Extract from the population information system wasn't good enough for Birth certificate and that they needed the original copy with the stamp for my green card application. So I sent what they wanted 24th November just as described.
I haven't got any response after that or any updates, not even message that they received my additional evidence. They said that its normal when I called.
I've been calling them every other week and I always get different answers.
We called to make Service request for EAD on March 2nd and they promised to get back to us in 10 days, which never happened, I am checking my USCIS account and it still says that my case is currently not assigned for processing. They told me that I have wait for Monday to make another service request..
I really don't know what can I do at this point since I've done everything just as told and waited patiently. I just want to live normal life with my husband. 😔 Thank you for reading and I hope someone would be able to help!
