Watching what has been happening since August, I'm totally convinced that they have a red flag that has prevented some people from getting their EAD/APs. I don't know what the flag is though. It may have something to do with legal status before applying for adjustment. My hubby was always in status, and hasn't accrued any unlawful time and we received his combo card on the shorter end of the normal processing time. I'm sure somebody will post anecdotes that don't fit this hypothesis, so IDK...
