UK Transit Visa for EAD/AP holder
We are travelling to India soon and had a couple of questions regarding UK transit Visa.
We have a valid AP but do not have a valid stamped visa on our passports. We are planning to go to India using this AP and not going to do any visa stamping in India so will be returning back on AP as well. We have a layover on London for 1 and half hour. We do know we need to take a transit visa in London however,
1. 1. Is DATV sufficient to board a BA flight from MAA (Chennai) to Charlotte transiting thru London Heathrow?
2. Do we need to get the transit visa for both ways, going and returning back since both ways we are flying via London?
3. Will British Airways allow us to board the flight in India with AP?
