    exhausting..

    I totally feel you.
I've been waiting for 180+ days, and I'm just losing any hope that I'll receive any notice from USCIS anytime soon.. let alone EAD.
Sometimes I just want USCIS to at least send me a RFE.. then I'd know what's been blocking my case.

I wonder what makes them so inefficient. Don't they have a quota to fill?
I mean... it's not a rocket science at all.. they are supposed to read our docs, see if there's anything missing.
and isn't it a kind of a universally accepted fact that it's more efficient to start working on first-received cases (or whatever it may be)?

if not, issue combo card so that we can work and travel while we are waiting for interview and decision on GC.

It's just miserable. I try not to check on USCIS case status or my email inbox everyday because I know there'll be nothing.
(there has been nothing since last November when they cashed check for biometrics.)

    Well.
I hope everyone hears something good soon.

Did you receive your I-797C Notice of Action receipts in the mail? Have you not even been scheduled for a biometrics appointment yet? If not, that seems pretty slow, but what's your priority date? If you don't mind disclosing, what's the purpose of your filing, i.e. are you adjusting status due to marriage to USC etc.
      Marriage AOS - 2018

      4-10: Sent to Chicago Lockbox
      4-12: Arrived in Chicago
      4-14: Picked up by USCIS
4-19: Email & text notifications received
      4-23: I-797 Receipts received
      4-27: Biometrics notice received
      5-10: Courtesy letter for I-693
      5-11: Biometrics completed
      6-04: Interview scheduled
      6-09: Received interview letter
7-10: Interview complete & approved, status change to New Card being Produced
      7-13: Card was Mailed
      7-18: Green Card in Hand

oh no! so sorry for confusion! I omitted so much! lol my bad.
Yes, my lawyer received NoA (mine never got delivered to me, i think it got lost while in USPS). And Yes, I did my biometrics on 12/1.
I was just talking about case status update -- that it never got updated since 11/2 when they cashed checks for biometrics.
So, no worries.. i'm just one of common people in this forum who had not heard anything ever since biometrics.

My application, along with my parents', was received by USCIS on 2017/10/26.
My father's sister (i.e. my aunt) filed for my father back in July 2004.
I was lucky enough to fall in that weird gap USCIS created for beneficiary's dependents who aged out during, well, waiting time. (My older brother wasn't so lucky).
and the fact that I'm one of the unlucky applicants here makes me think that it's not about USCIS is being knowingly and willfully **** to those who married USC and applied for GC while on a certain visa (H1, I believe?).. like some people have mentioned, because I'm like, none of the above (at all!).
I was E2 dependent while I was a minor, after that I changed it to F1 visa. after graduation, I worked with my opt-EAD which was expired on Feb 2018.

anyways, I'm so sorry for confusion I caused to you, Tezza!
