Has anyone applied for their AP separately? I hate that I didn't file for my AP and EAD combo because I have my EAD and social security card now. How long does it take? What's your experiences?

Yes, you can apply for your Advance Parole, with basis of I-485 in process. No fee for the I-131 submittal, but include copy of the I-485 receipt Notice of Action with our I-131 submittal.

I already answered your question, that you can submit the I-131 for an AP, and there is no fee if you include proof of the I-485 being in process.
It may take up to 3 months for approval of the Advance Parole.
