Received EAD/AP months ago, just got another alert a card was produced

Filed in July 2017 in Atlanta. My wife received her EAD/AP in October, and her name spelling had to be corrected and was fixed in February. We are waiting for our interview on our I-485 and yet today I got a text alert from USCIS saying there has been a status update. Obviously I got very excited that we are finally getting our interview, but when I got the email it is under our I-765 receipt number and says "Your case status: card/document production"

Any ideas what this could be?

I got my EAD card in November and were waiting for appointment, now they notified me -by e-mail- that EAD(I-765) being produced. It can mean 2 things:

1. The site admin is having fun with immigrants with false good news -or OK lets say it was a mistake!
2. Our green card is being produced, as I heard from a lawyer that couple of weeks ago they decided to waive interviews for most of the employment based cases.

I hope it's the second case but in that case we should have card being produced for I-485 not I-765. Also the date in the e-mail is Nov, 2017 i.e. the date they send my EAD. So I believe unfortunately it's the first case.

IDK but they sure are slow

July 26th.. i actually moved to the west coast while my case is pending.. so double stress here lol

I googles something a repeated ead notification and looks like that has happened before.

dont get your hopes up, i got my EAD in march and got email and text notifications about this in may. NBC c9
doubt i'm getting my greencard without an interview so i think its just a glitch in the system.
