Yeah, I thought all Employment Authorizations for marriage based adjustment of status are issued by NBC? Normal processing time is 4.5-6.5 months, I'm still in the normal time range, can't do anything, but i hope the EAD will be approved soon. People who filed in early March are starting to get their work cards..

I just got notice on my email yesterday. So I guess I will have to wait for another 4.5-6.5 months to see...if only USCIS did not mess up my case then I would have saved another month..

I saw that too. This is some horsesh*t. People are getting angry over here.

No, k-1 AOS is also marriage based and category c9, as well. Texas and Nebraska service centers handle theirs. California might, too. Their stuff happens faster though. I just saw someone who filed in Raleigh back on 06-08-18 and they just got the interview letter. It's scheduled for 08-31-18.

Yeah lucky for them! Sometimes I wish I live in those places. I filed 3/2/2018, but got an RFE in July, god knows how long it would delay my case...

Yes, angry and frustrated! This sh*t harms our marriage too, as I am not happy staying home like a braindead houseplant (yes, I used to have a career in Europe) and not being able to see my family and visit my HOMECOUNTRY.

It's frustrating, yes. That's why often times consular processing is a good alternative to adjustment of status. Tanja sounds German. Germany has a USCIS international field office which processes I-130s in a month. Done. You get your immigrant visa. Then, enter the US and your green card arrives in the mail.
