  • Six months and no updates

My receipt date for the EAP/AP filing is 3/13/2018. The USCIS has not updated my status or communicated anything since the I-797. Today, I filed an "outside of normal processing time" service request. Is there anything else I can do? It feels like forgot about my case or something went wrong. Any help? We live in Wichita, KS and filed with the National Benefits Center.

My date is 3/21/2018, haven't heard nothing since the I-797; I called and they said the processing time was 4 1/2 months to 6 1/2 months so we are still under processing time and we have to keep waiting.
Please post what you hear from your request! Ive been reading other posts and seems like people have been receiving their card around the 6 month mark so im hoping it happens soon!

The current case inquiry date for EAD is March 15, 2018, which is why you got the generic response. I would wait six more days, and towards the end of next week put in an inquiry about the case being outside normal processing time.

This site provides applicants the ability to see an estimate of the time to completion from submission of USCIS forms based on its adjudication location and subtype.

My PD is 3/20/2018.. I was planning to raise a SR next week but got a message today that my case was updated yesterday. My EAD was approved just yesterday. I'm definitely in your shoes, don't lose hope. I've watched people before and after me get theirs and I thought I was being punished unknowingly but USCIS is clearly on their own time. I hope this week brings great news.

But you say they haven't communicated since the I797, have you done your biometrics?
