Just checked CaseTracker app and this appeared on the history: "As of September 23, 2018, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SR---------MSC, is currently not assigned for processing."

Does anybody have any experience with service requests? I know they wrote they have until Oct 15th to reply, but will they update it in the system once they assign it for processing?

Anybody received reply for any service request they submitted?

MsGhassemi, is there any update on your SR?

I've requested SR twice for my EAD out of processing time. Both SR inquires were answered after 2 months. Good luck with yours.

At this stage, you can enlist your Senator and have them inquire.

I had to calm myself down for a week, I felt like nothing I will do will have any impact. I still feel like contacting Senator won't changw anything, but should probably try it. Do you have any tips like should my husband try to contact Senator's office and to speak to him directly? Or fill out forms on his webpage?
By some miracle I was finally able to schedule Infopass in Montgomery, Alabama on Oct 15th - do you think they will be able to tell me what is in the RFIE? And can the officer contact NBC and push them to send the RFIE again at once? Or that is what Senator's office should be able to do?

Geez, that must have been so anger inducing, I have no words. Did you also received RFIE for 485, or there was some problem with EAD?

Not at all. My RD is 10/16/2017. Yes, it is almost a year now. Nothing on the horizon. The 2 SR I requested were not useful at all.

I also asked my senator to help and the answer she got from NBC was the following.

Your constituent filed using the Dates for Filing Applications Chart, and we will continue to review these applications and related ancillary applications in the order received. Due to the volume of cases under review, we do not have an estimated timeframe for completion.

Please note that processing times are not a guarantee that applications will be processed within a specific timeframe. An I-765/I-131 case is eligible for expedited processing if it meets USCIS's expedite criteria<http://www.uscis.gov/us-visa-and-immigration-forms/expedite-criteria>. Please provide additional information/documentation regarding the basis for the expedite request. Please also note that a single letter from the applicant, without additional supporting documentation, does not generally meet the criteria for expedited processing.

Hi y?all. I feel like I?m losing my mind right now.

                              Timeline:

                              04/23 filed I-485, I-765 and I-130 with a lawyer
                              04/25 I-485 accepted
05/29 I-485 ready to be scheduled for an interviw

AND THAT?S IT. I?ll be outside normal processing time for the EAD IN A FEW DAYS, currently at 176 days. Service center at NBC for I-765 and Chicago for I-485. I don?t know what to do anymore, the lawyer is telling me to wait but I?m really running out of patience. I see a lot of cases that were filed waaay after mine that got their EAD and even went to the interview. Anyone have similar experience? Will the status just **** *ally update before I?m outside normal processing time?

Same here; Filed 3/19; this is ridiculous. I just called again and they said to wait 30 days to hear a response regarding the "outside normal processing service request"; that's Oct 21st for me, I'll post an update then
