Hello my wife got an approval of her advance parole (I1131) but hasn't gotten her advance parole card. In addition, she is planning to go back to her country tomorrow. The advance parole card is coming this week, and I am planning to pick it up for her. Furthermore, I will be traveling back to her country with her card so that we can travel back to the U.S. together. In short, will she be able to travel outside of the U.S. with an advance parole approval but no card?

I just returned from a trip to my home country as well. The IO at border entry made it a point to remind me that the AP card is necessary for parole into the US, I see no problem with your wife leaving without the AP card but if she doesn't have it on hand on her return trip to the US there could be a problem - 1st at airline check-in (where they may look for it because there is no valid US visa associated with her non-US travel document) and 2nd at the US arrival immigration point where all APs require a secondary immigration check.
