EAD delay ..how long to wait ???

Hi All, I applied for EAD from ND in June 29th and the USCIS received my application on July 2nd. As of today it has been almost 4 months or 118 days, and I have no clue about how long i have to wait. It went to Potomac center and when I call USCIS they said it is within normal processing time which is 3-5 months but I mean its already 4 months, idk why it's been so late and I dont even know after waiting for this long they will approve my application or reject it. I contacted the congressman and they were very helpful, the representative asked the USCIS and they sent a reply saying my case is being reviewed by an officer and i may get the decision within 30 days which was about a month ago. I already have a job offer. I am seriously losing all my patience. Has anyone who applied from ND before or during end of June/early July received their EAD card already? Does anyone know if Potomac center is just very busy or short of staff or something? Thank you.

F-1 Visa Stem OPT Extension EAD Delay

Hi all,

My case for I-765 OPT Extension was received on June 6th 2018 and has been pending ever since (Been almost 5 months). I know that the expiration is extended to 180 days but what happens if it's still not processed beyond that time? I called USCIS and they told me it's within the normal processing time. Any suggestion regarding my circumstance would be really helpful.

I received notice saying the case is approved and the approval is sent to my address. So I am hoping to receive my EAD card within 2 weeks or so. It took almost 4 months for me to receive the approved notice from the day USCIS received my i-765 application. Thank you all and good luck
