Hi, I'm in the US in J2 status with a valid J2 visa that expires on January 31 2019. I will get an extended DS2019 next week and immediately apply for the extension of my EAD which is also valid until January 31 2019. I made vacations plans to travel to Mexico for Christmas without thinking that pending EAD might pose a problem. Can I travel to Mexico and will it in any way influence my pending EAD extension?
