  • Expedited Travel parole documents

Hi, my husband and I are currently on EAD and have travel parole papers, which expire on 12/14. We already have submitted the request for renewing them. His grandma passed away on 11/20, which is why we applied to get the renewed papers expedited. We both received an email saying that they received our application, but I received a notification on mail saying that I?ve been approved, while my husband received an email saying he?s provided enough evidence and documents, and he will get an answer in 60 days.
Do you have experience how long will he wait, should we write to their email and ask for more information, because we already bought two tickets, and they aren?t cheap..

    Thanks

He can try to apply for an Emergency AP in person at a local office, based on the grandma's death. Note that Emergency AP is different from expediting a regular AP application, and Emergency AP is applied for in person and granted the same day. You can read about both types here.

If he can go and return by December 14, then he can go on his current AP.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
