Random question but we had EB1 green card interviews back October but our priority date wasn?t current so whilst the interviewer indicated everything was great, we were placed in retrograde until our date became current. I?ve checked the December bulletin and our date is now current.
We have flights booked out of the country end of December and so my question is this. We have valid advanced parole EAD?s but I?ve been told if the status of our case changes at USCIS from interview scheduled to case approved/card issued before we travel then we can?t travel on the EAD advanced parole, we have to wait until the green cards actually come and we have them in hand . Is this correct or just overly cautious?!
