  • How do I send back a rejected I-765 packet with a line drawn over the USCIS markings?

It was rejected because it was missing the last 3 pages. However, in addition to USCIS markings at the bottom of the pages, someone drew a line over the markings on the first page and initialed it (see attached photo).

According to my lawyer, no one at his office drew that line. Do I send the first page as is or do I print a new copy?Click image for larger version

Did yours also have a line drawn over the USCIS numbers along with what looks like initials?

just fill out a completely new form. and send the entire thing this time. it doesn't matter if lines were drawn over certain areas or not cause they're going to reject it again if you send the same form back
This is strictly an opinion and should not be misconstrued as legal advice. The use of this information is strictly at your own risk.
