Has anyone received EAD and AP separately?

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has been in the same situation as me?

My lawyer filed EAD and AP forms ten days apart (for extension) back in September 2018. Last week I received only the EAD, not a combo card, not valid for re entry...

Has anyone been in such circumstance?

Yes, it's been like that lately even though EAD and AP are filed at the same time in the same package. You filed in September but got it already? I'm jealous. Many filed way back in June and still nothing.

was quick maybe because it was an extension.
So now; will I receive a documentation for AP?
