how long do i need to wait

as the title says does anyone know how long do i have to wait until i get my EAD i went to newark 6 weeks ago for my bios and all im waiting for now is my EAD i have an emplower here in the U.S who want to hire me but he needs me to have proof im here legaly and some sort of working papers. im wait very patiently but i might loose this position does anyone know who i can contact to find out more about this matter and any help from you guys would be really great and appreciated

Have you receieved a confirmation notice in the mail yet with a receipt number (that normally starts with MSC)
You can either A)Go to uscis.gov and you can check the status of your case with your receipt number
or B)Call the toll free number National Customer Service center 1-800-375-5283

After 90 days (from receipt date) you can make an app with infopass and go in if u havent received it and get an interim one.....in th meantime u just ahve to wait
