How soon could I get an Advance Parole processed?

Hi,

How soon could I get an Advance Parole for my fiancee after we get married in the US? I believe we can file for the AOS and AP at the same time. We plan to get married and then she will return to Australia to finalize things (leaving job, packing, wedding reception plans, etc.).

I have read about expediting the process in terms of family emergencies but what about job commitments among other things? She would only be here for about 3 weeks to get married before having to go back to work.

The goal is that we would like to have the immigration paperwork completed before we have the reception in Australia. Is this scenario even possible given the short time frame? Thanks for any advice!

No. you fiancees circumstances do not amount to an emergency. You have a 4-8 weeks wait before the AP is approved.

Thanks! I wish there wasn't as much red tape to deal with. Oh well, 4 to 8 weeks is not too bad I guess. We get to be with each other even longer before her final transition over here.
