Extension of EAD

Hi

I have a L2 visa which expires in June 2006 and my EAD expires in Dec 2005.
I wish to renew/extend my EAD till June 2006.

My first question is do i need I-94 which is valid till June 2006 before i could apply for extension of EAD? My current I-94 expires with EAD i.e. in Dec 2005.

And my second question is how much time does it take to get the EAD after I apply for the extension?

Hi Sheetal,
You seem to have the dates mixed up, so I am guessing that your EAD expires in dec 06. You need to apply for a renewal, 3 months minimum b4 it expires. so you have to apply now for the renewal and hope you get it b4 the expiratio

you apply for a renewal the same way you applied for the original one...........same form , check, photo AND a copy, front an dback of your current/expired one
