I am in a sticky situation and hoping on some guidance as to what to do.
I am in middle of GC processing with i-140 approved. I also have an EAD and Advance Parole which will expire pretty soon. I have applied for renewal, but the new ones are not likely to arrive until sometime in Feb, 2007.
However, my company also renewed my H1B. (which is valid until June 2008), but my passport is not stamped with this renewed one
I have to travel to India in 1st week of Feb 2007.
What are my options to return back to US?
1) Travel to India, hoping that the AP arrives. Once it arrives have a friend mail them to India and return back to US using them
2) Go to H1B visa stamping for me and H4 for my wife, in India. Last time, I entered US using the AP, will it be ok if now I enter using H1/H4 ??
3) Can I go to Mexico or Canada to get my H1 visa stamping instead? Our I-94 date has already expired. Will I be eligible to go to Mexico or Canada if that is the case (presently no dates are available in India) !!
Any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated
