I am currently in the US on a valid H-4 visa.
I have recently applied for Adjustment of Status and
Work Authorization,and waiting to hear from
Immigrations.

My question is,Can I start work with my employer as
soon as I get the EAD(and subsequently SSN) approved
or do I have to wait for the Ajustment petition to be
approved?

Secondly, can my spouse (he has H-1B) change his
employer while our green card petitions are still
pending
