  • Waiting for AP for more than 75 days

    Hi,
I applied for AP 75 days ago in Nebraska and still waiting. Based on delay caused by USCIS can I go to local office and get my AP. Or should I do that only in case of a personal emergency?
    Thanks for your response.

        Waiting for AP!!!

        Hey Esomu,
Same situation here: waiting for AP at Nebraska Center for 65 days today! I called and they said it can take up to 6 months!?!? Is that right? I was so desperate I even thought about leaving and having someone mail me the AP but I realized it would have been a huge mistake.
Big up my friend! Hang in there!
        Salvador.

          Question to Esomu!

          Hi Esomu!
Are you still waiting for AP?
Please let me know because it is about to be 90 days since the notice date and there is no update on my case. I am really worried, frustrated, depressed... etc.
          Thanks for you reply!

Can anyone explain me what will be the problem if we leave the country and have someone mail the AP to me later when it arrives.

              For Toonpainter!

              Hi!
I had the same question and an Immigration officer told me that when an individual leaves the US they have to hand out their I-94 as proof that they have left the country. This evidence will go to USCIS service centers and they will stop your your process there.
So be strong and hang in there!!!

Kindly help me with this issue.
I am here in USA from last 2 years. My visa status is H4.
My husband who is on H1B and I have applied for I485
and I131 forms that are pending. We want to travel to India
soon and stay there for 4- 6 weeks. We had extended our
H1B and it is currently valid but our visa stamp on passport
is expired. Please help me by answering whether I am eligible
to travel to India without waiting for travel document or not.

                Thanks
