EAD ordered but says 30days>

Hi,

My case status website shows that EAD has been ordered to be produced but will take upto 30 days. Officially, it will be 90 days tomorrow for my EAD application.

does anyone know how long it will take or where does the EAD come from? My case is in Missouri SVC center.

It will normally takes 3 months (90days).

Hi Guys,

Just for info, I received my EAD card 1 week after USCIS posted the following message on their on-line site, ~Card Production Ordered'.

So I suppose that it may take a few days upto a few months.

After how long since your filing date did you get the approval of the EAD?

I received my approval & EAD card in less than a month aftr submitting the I765.

that was really fast!!! I sent everything a month ago and did not get any RFEs but still no EAD, my interview for I485 is in a month. I am really excited and cen't wait to be able to work.

I have applied my EAD 2 months back .. I have got my receipt but no further intimation . I am even waiting for the biometrics appointment.Could someone please advise how long does it take to get the call for biometrics from the date of receiving the receipt for I765.Is there any way to contact the USCIS .

Are USCIS still issuing Interim Cards. I have applied in Vermont Service center.

if you have applied in October, you should be receiveing notice for Biometrics soon. i had applied in Nov and got my fingerprints in December and my EAD in Feb 3rd week. my interview is in March as well.

as far as I know they do not have issue interim EAD anymore. so you need to wait at least 90 days of your application for EAD. you can make an appointment at the local USCIS office to find out when you might recieve the biometrics letter. Also, make sure your mails are coming through .i have read and heard stories about ppl losing their EAD or notices in mail.

I have applied it on Jan 5th and they have accepted my EAD application on Jan 8th 2007. But still i have not got any Biometrics appointment... Does it really take 2 months to get the Biometrics appointment ? Is it fine to wait until i get a mail from the USCIS for 90 days or shall i have to go and check the status of my case in the local office now .

Hey Jo,
I think you are waiting too long. My applications were receipt on Jan 3th, 07 and the notice day was Jan 8th, 07; I went for my biometrics on Jan 26th but I haven't gotten my EAD approved yet.

to my understanding, your receipt date is Jan 8th. You should have received a notice letter for your biometrics by now. im not sure which service center has your application since it varies at the service center location. you can check with local USCIS office. however, it is very important to have the email setup with USCIS website so that you can get updates from them.

you should check the USCIS website at least 2 time per day. If you have not setup your account with USCIS, I urge you to do SO now~~ and add your case #. did you receive any notice of RFE (request for evidence)?? if not, then check to make sure your mailbox is getting your mails. I am waiting for an approval notice for my EAD as it was mailed on Feb 20th. it's been 9 days i haven't seen it. you should check with your local post office to see if there was any mail for you from USCIS.

Thanks a lot for your reply,
I have applied in Vermont Service Center and i am checking the USCIS Website regularly.. I have subscribed to the mail alerts but i did not receive any email as such expect that it was registered.. The only thing i find in the USCIS website for my case is that the last update date is getting changed.

I have no mail on RFE ... i am getting all the other mails but nothing from USCIS...

Please advise how should i proceed now... If i call up the customer service its an automated machine setup and they are not connecting to the immigration officer...

I have not received my EAD approval notice, but the EAD card has arrived. are they 2 diff notices?
