Hi,
I came to US on H4 visa and we are in the middle of the GC process. I use EAD to work and have AP to travel to india. But my H4 visa got expired on my passport on jan10,2007 and I was asked in RMV(Registry of Motor Vehicles) to bring some doc that shows my current visa valid status inorder to take a driving test. Those people doesn't understand the concepts of EAD and they think I am staying in US without any visa. But I don't know how to make them understand that EAD is something like a visa for us. So they keep aruguing with me and asked me to submit proper docs showing my current visa status.
Is there any doc such like that INS can give us while we have EAD and AP(without having any other visa status on passport)? or anybody can provide us in this case? If so can somebody please point me what to do and whoom to contact. Someone please help me. I need to find this very quickly... PLEASEEEEE
