Hi.
Any information is greatly appreciated regarding the following question!
(FYI: We already looked the different threads and also performed some internet search, and were unsuccessful to find the answer. We really appreciate your help!!)
I entered the USA under F-1 visa, and I currently have a full-time job under OPT. My EAD (under F-1, OPT) will expire on July 9th, 2007.
I got married in March 2007, and we applied for Green Card, Work Permit, and Advance Parole in early April. The USCIS received our applications on April 10th, and we received the receipt letters on April 18th. Based on the processing time on USCIS (Chicago) website, I may not receive the new EAD card on-time.
IF (and only IF!!) I don't receive the EAD card before my current EAD (under F-1/OPT) expires, can I still keep working? Or, if I do so, is it illegal?
Thank you for your help in advance!
