Biometric fees for EAD ?

Hi,

I am aware of fees for EAD is $180. But I am confused whether I should also add $70 fees for Biometric in same check ? BUt the main confusion is that whether Biometric fees is required or not for L2 EAD I am not sure, So please let me know.

Biometric Fee

I think the biometric fee is required if you're filing an I-765 EAD for an L2 spouse. You have to provide two separate checks one for the $180 filing fee and one for the $70 biometric fee.

If you're an L1 visa holder and your filing for your spouse then you'd use category (a)(18) and this doesn't appear to be a category that is exempt from filing fees or the biometric fee.

If it is required by the uscis for the biometric.then you have to send the biometric fees with the application otherwise it is an incomplete application.
