  • [Status:Approval Notice Sent] - Then what?

I filed for EAD renewal and Adv Parole while my marriage-based GC has been pending over a year.

Renewal EAD receipt date - March 15, 2007 to NSC [Fingerprinting done on April 19, 2007]
Adv Parole receipt date - March 15, 2007 to NSC

My online status changed to 'Approval Notice Sent' for both of the cases on May 22, 2007 and it says notices have been mailed. I haven't receive any mail yet. Should I be worried?

Is there a way to go to Local USCIS office and get my new EAD card issued as I need to start work on June 11th?

    Thanks

You have to wait before it has been 30 days since your EAD and/or AP were sent to you. If it has been 30 days you can call and they should expedite the process or explain why it is taking longer. I had to wait for almost 5 months for my AP! But my EAD only took 3 months.

    EAD form mailed: 12/15/2006
    Receive date: 12/29/2006
    Fingerprints: 01/16/2007
    EAD mailed: 03/23/2007
    EAD received: 03/28/2007

    AP form mailed: 01/20/2007
    Receive date: 01/22/2007
    AP mailed: 05/16/2007
    AP received: 06/04/2007

Got my EAD card within 2 days

Actually, I received my EAD card on Friday (June 1st) even though on the phone the officer told me it was going to be a 2-step process with approval notice coming in 1-30 days and then EAD card in 1-30 days.

My Adv parole is yet to come thought it was approved a week before EAD.
