H1B to EAD for my wife

Below is the status of my GC through my company:
I-140 pending
I-485 pending

My wife is on H1B with another company and I applied for her EAD through my company and she got the EAD now. Below are my questions:
1. Does my wife have to wait for 180 to switch employers - H1B to EAD (even though she is not primary GC applicant)?
2. Will there be any impact to my visa since I am on H1B?

Can you please let me know how you are able to get transfer from H1B to EAD? Did you send H1B approval notice and paystubs to USCIS to get EAD. Please advise me at [email protected], i need to apply.
