Apply for AP in TX in person?

Does anyone know if your AP can go through quickly (i.e. less than a month) if apply in person at the Texas processing center?

I think that it varies case by case. Last year, I was given Parole on the spot by the officer(at Detroit) when I had gone for my GC interview. I had my parole application, cheque, Photos ready. Maybe he took pity on me since i joined the gang of others whose status is "Pending Security Clearance"

Yes when you were at your interview. The initial poster just wants to apply for AP without any status. You can't go in person.
