Filling the EAD form I-765

Hi Everyone,

I have a doubt in filling point 11 of the EAD form. It asks:
"Have you ever before applied for employment authorization from USCIS?"

I had my H1-B stamped earlier which got expired on Jun 23, 2007. But I never entered US with that H1-B vias. I came to US with a F1 visa.

Do, I have to mark a "Yes" in this field?

I believe that this field asks if the person has applied for an EAD before and it does not apply to other work visas.

Please clarify my doubt.
