Since my EAD is pending for more than 100 days, I casually mentioned to the attorney that I know that I wrote a letter to Ombudsman & an email to Senator.
I was hoping to get a pat on my back but I am now concerned since he feels that its a bad idea.
According to his words "If possible, you should try to revoke that. If either of them makes a formal inquiry into the file, the CIS has a very strict policy that all processing of that file must immediately STOP. The file is routed out of the work queue and over to a special inquiry liaison officer. It will not resume processing until that officer finds time to give the Senator an update".
Any advice ! Was it a wrong idea to submit an inquiry to Senator & Ombudsman ? I did that due to my colleague's advice.
