Dear Sir,
I am on h1b. My wife applied for greencard on base of 245i.
So on base of her we got EAD. After 1 year we applied for renewal.
I got EAD renewal correctly for 1 year. But she got EAD renewal
for only 2 month (nov-dec 2004).Accually our EAD was approved in may 2004
so she suppose to get EAD renewal starting from May but instead of that
she got only 2 month(that is also starting from nov-dec 2004).
So attorney write letter to INS. But INS replied like:
"Since you obtained an intrim card from the detroit distric office,the validity of that
card is counted towards the validity of this authorization"
But we never applied intrim card AND never received any intrim card
from detroit distric office.
Accually we are in NY so our service center is VSC.
My question is : Now my wife can work legally or not ?
Or only she can work nov-dec 2004 ? What should I do in this situation.
