Dear Lawyers and Friends,
I need urgent advice from you for my case.
I'm a F1 visa, my OPT just expired this month. I married to a us citizen last year and applied for marriage based AOS. I've got the AOS interview 3 months ago. We answered every question that the INS official asked. Although we have picture we're going out together except for wedding picture. We regreted that we didn't have a chance to show the official any picture of us together since she just asked for our wedding picture which we didn't have any. We couldn't afford to have a wedding by that time. The official asked us to give him our individual passport picture. The official made copy of our credit card of our joint bank account. The official just told us to wait for the decision in the mail.
It's been almost 3 months now and we haven't received any news from USCIS.
1.Please give me some instruction about what i should do now?
2.I'm worry whether I'm still legal to stay in us since my OPT expired already. But my Employment Card based on AOS still valid until next year.
3.While waiting for the decision from USCIS, should i extend my employment authorization card as it'll soon expire so that i can be still legal to stay in us?
4. Should i make an appointment InfoPass with USCIS official for more info or should i just wait?
I need urgent advice from you for my case.
