My situation is:
J-1 (work and travel) Admitted June 2, 2001 - I-94 - D/S IAP-66 was valid till October 2, 2001 plus after that I was allowed to travel for one month within US.
I-539 (for B2) was filed before my status was expired and receipt date is November 8, 2001. Approval notice - April 9, 2001 that my B2 valid from 10/21/2001 to 04/30/2002.
Before my B-2 got expired I submitted all documents for H1-b. Receipt date April 30, 2002 . Approval notice date August 5, 2003 that H1B1 valid from 8/5/2003 to 4/30/05 They requested a lot of additional information - thats why it took that long:\
I-485 I-130 I-131 were submitted in person and I got my Advanced Parole.
So...can I travel outside of US without any problems?
They (CIS) approved my B-2 for more then 6 months...is it allowed?
