Hi,
I had applied for EAD in 10/03 in vermont processing center. My current H1b is expiring on 02/05/04.
I received an RFI on my EAD application. The local processing office refuses to give me a interim EAD because of the RFI status. They also say that I will not become out of status when my h1b expires even though I don't have my EAD yet.
1. Can anybody confirm this is true?
2. Should I be applying for H1B extension ASAP ?
