Hello all,

My spouse has filed for I140/485 parallel processing. We received our EAD few months back. but we still didn't get our AP. Since it is more than 120 days, Is there any possibility that we can go to the nearest INS office and get our AP even in case of non-emergency?

Hi.
My AP filed on July 03', never heard of a thing, so I walked in to local office on Dec. 29 and told them I need for emergency with a prove (company letter or some kind of documents). They took and and gave back to me next day. The only thing is I have to pay twice. I have to pay them another $110.00 as consider to apply a new case.

So, answer your question is YES, you could get one in your local office but you might want to tell them you need for emergency otherwise I don't know.
