  • what are my options??

hi, i am in the south eastern region (texas center) and had applied for my 485 in apr 2002 after getting my i140. now after 18+ months and 1+ renewal of my EID i am planning on changing jobs and moving to another state under the NSC region. my question is what am i getting into ? is it safe to switch jobs and also service center at the same time. will it hamper the processing or cause any problesm when i am tryinh to renew my EID next time as tsc is way to slow and i dont see my 485 getting approved in the next 2 yrs....

has anone done somthing similar or has any info abt this scenario please let me know

    thanks in advance

I first filed in Arizona and then moved to Nevada 7 months later. It had no effect on my EAD and in fact moving to a smaller INS office increased the process time on my I-130, 485, etc. I had everything completed in 8 months and I just got my GC last month. It took AZ a little over a month to transfer my files and for me to recieve a confirmation letter from the Reno office to that effect.
