EAD with I-485

I am on L2 and I am currently working on EAD.
My husband's company is planning to file for his I-140 and I-485 whenever the dates becomes current. Will I have to apply for my EAD again with the I-485 or should I wait and get it renewed with uscis whenever it is up for renewal next year?
My concern is once my I-485 is applied, does my status change from L2 to something else or does it remain the same.
Also, once the I-485 is applied, is my current EAD (L2 based) still valid?

It stays at L2 and if your spouse stays on L1 and you want to maintain L2 then dont apply for EAD or AP through I-485. dual EAD's often get denied.
Ap might be applied for in case you dont want the hassel of stamping.
