I am working on H1 visa. I had an EAD last year, never used it and have applied for the EAD extension this year. My new extended EAD has not yet come but I have a receipt notice for the same. Can I work on the receipt for the EAD extension, it might take another month for me to get the renewed EAD.
If I have to have the EAD and can not work on the receipt, is there any way I can go to the local office and get the EAD, will an offer letter from the new employer be useful here?
