I am an H-1B and obtained the EAD card. My wife will be travelling to India and will return back in 4 months. I am thinking of changing my job by utilising EAD and to be on safer side I will obtain AP for her.
However, consider the alternative scenario wherein my wife has proceeded to India after obtaining AP but I did not change employment in the interim (still maintaining H1 status with original employer). In such a scenario, should my wife present AP at Port of Entry, when she returns back?
