Applying EAD and going out of country

Currently I am working with an EAD(L2 based).
It is due to Expire in December 2007.
I will be applying for my EAD renewal in 2-3 days.
However, I will be travelling to India next month for 5 weeks.
Will that affect my EAD renewal application?
Do I have to be in the country while the EAD renewal is being processed?
Please note that I am on L2 and my L2 is valid until April 2009.

Hi!

The only problem that I see would be if they called you for second fingerprints to renew your EAD and you would be out of the country but other than that I think you just need to have your AP

you dont need ap, and you dont have to be in the country for EAD approval
