Renewal of EAD

Dear Sr./Ms
I applied for renewal of my EAD in June. Few days later I got the receipt notice and few days after that, an invitation for the biometrics (although I did that last year). However, since I was about to travel on the biometrics day (7/13), I immediately notified the USCIS and asked for rescheduling as was instructed in the letter.
Unfortunately, until now, I have not been rescheduled.
Please advise/ reschedule me.

Did you e-file your appliaction or paper-file it?
I am in a similar kind of dilemma.
I have recently paper filed for EAD renewal. And I am travelling to India in Septmeber.
When you e-file, it specifically tells you that they will schedule an appointment for Biometrics and you don't have to send any photographs. But for paper-filing nothing specific has been mentioned.
So, I am kind of confused whethe this Biometrcs appointment is mandatory for all applicants(paper or e-filing) or only for those who e-file.

I am worried that if they schedule the appointment after I leave for India, what can be done about that situation?
